Found While Hiking

When I go hiking I sometimes collect small bits of organic material that I find interesting. I find it all interesting, from feathers to bits of bone to pieces of dried plants. It’s a habit I’ve indulged since I was a child, though I understand why it appeals to me much better now. I’ve also been experimenting with focus stacking with my macro lens, and for subjects I’ve been drawing on these collected bits of random stuff. I shot these as tests but some of them turned out quite nicely so I figure why not put them up here. These are much shorter stacks than I’m used to shooting, ranging from only 13 up to 156 exposures.

Bonus African Violets because I can’t figure out where else to put them.
